Would you like to guess the age of these photographs?
They were taken by Mervyn Joseph Pius O’Gorman and the subject is his daughter, Christina.
French brothers, Auguste and Louis Lumière were the primary figures in the development of Autochrome Lumière whcih allowed people to take color pictures.
O’Gorman took these pictures in 1913 using the Autochrome technology making the photos 102 years old.
History lost the trail of Christine O’Gorman. These pictures are the only surviving proof she ever existed.
